LaCore Aedre Collagen

A magic formula to turn back time...

La Core Aedre is a hydrolyzed collagen supplement that helps regulate the body's metabolic state by providing enzymatically digested collagen of a low molecular weight that is rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract. La Core Aedre provides important amino acids often missing in most diets. For better absorption, various standard proteinogenic amino acids and non-proteinogenic amino acids are specially added into La Core Aedre to supply sufficient raw materials for natural collagen synthesis. This can help increase skin elasticity, remove fine lines, restore skin radiance and improve complexion. The product also contains Fucoidan to accelerate the natural synthesis process of collagen, positively impact a large number of metabolic pathways, with immediate positive improvement effect on: mental alertness, mood, mental clarity, concentration and energy.

There are many sources of collagen, but the composition structure of fish collagen is found to be most similar to that of human collagen. Therefore, fish collagen can be most easily identified and absorbed by the human body. La Core Aedre is made from collagen extracted from deep sea cod in North America and North Europe, which allows rapid absorption and significant effects.

Normal food sources provide significant amounts of tryptophan, cysteine, methionine and histidine. However the LaCore Aedre formulation contains significant amounts of glycine, lysine and praline, which are often found in low amounts or are even missing in other foods sources or supplements. LaCore Aedre becomes important as a dietary supplement (along with normal diet of other proteins) since age induced wear and tear of the connective tissues increases as we age ( past 25 years of age).

LaCore Aedre  provides the specific amino acid building blocks needed to   help the body's natural ability to repair supporting connective tissues (bone, joints, cartilages, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails) and maintain hydration of cells that diminish with age.

The amino acid composition of collagen protein is much different from the meat and vegetable protein that people usually consume in their diet. Standard diets do not contain high levels of  necessary amino acids like glycine, lysine and praline, which many people are unable to meet their nutritional needs for increased collagen synthesis and repair when their bodies are placed under stress. Moreover, unprocessed dietary collagen cannot be absorbed easily into the digestive tract making the benefits undetectable and therefore useless as a supplement. LaCore Aedre provides the missing link in supplying additional amounts of these important amino acids   which are specifically needed by the body to build connective tissue structure and to regulate the function of cells.

What is collagen?
Collagen is a very important protein that mainly exists in our connective tissues. As it is highly tensile, it is the main component of ligaments and tendons, and can maintain skin elasticity. As collagen ages, it shrinks and forms wrinkles.

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, making up about 25-33% of the total protein content. It is ubiquitous in the tissue organs like skin, bones, cartilage, ligaments, cornea, various inner membranes and fascia, and is the main component for maintaining the shape and structure of skin and tissue organs. Therefore, collagen is crucial to human health and beauty. It can firm the skin, remove wrinkles, nourish and moisturize the skin, restore elasticity, uplift the breasts, support joint functions and prevent pregnancy stretch marks etc.

Fucoidan
Fucoidan is a complex polysaccharide composed largely of fucopyranoside and natural sulphate of brown seaweed/algae. Fucoidan also has trace elements of three different types of sugar molecules-galactose, xylose, and glucuronic acid. Fucoidan molecules also demonstrate a tendency to bond with sulfation polysaccharide groups. Research indicates that the higher the sulfation polysaccharide group-count in a plant, the higher its therapeutic potential.

Fucoidan is one of the polysaccharides; it is known as a sulfated polysaccharide and is found in many varieties of brown seaweed. It is also found in the sea cucumber. There are 2 types of Fucoidan being researched at this time; F-fucoidan- which has sulfated esters of fucose. The second type is U-fucoidan- which is made up of 20% glucuronic acid. They can now be found as diet supplements.

Research has been going on with Fucoidan since 1970. There have been many exciting discoveries. Fucoidan has been shown to help the body with cellular communication. This enables the body to function better and will enable the immune system to be more efficient. It has also been found to help with cell regeneration by helping to increase stem cells. It has been proven to help with many functions of the body. It enables the body to be stronger.

The content of fucoidan can stimulate body to release SOD (Superoxide Dismutase) from cell membrane, which can help clear extra free radicals. This has the function of anti-aging and keeping skin and body younger and healthy. Moreover, it can adjust the fiber cells in the dermis and the collagen fiber agglutination structure by the combination of fucoidan and fish collagen, which can promote skin flexiblity and reduce wrinkles.

Fucoidan is extracted from brown seaweed. This is grown on special seaweed farms in Japan and also grows naturally in cool temperate waters. It is also found in deep, cold ocean water. In fact, the species Ascophyllum nodosum can be found in the artic. Freshly cut floating plants are harvested as these have the least amount of pollution. Only small amounts of Fucoidan can be extracted from brown seaweed (around 0.8g of Fucoidan from 1kg of brown seaweed), so it is impossible for a person to intake 2.0g of Fucoidan just by eating brown seaweed.

AMINO ACIDS Overview
Amino Acids are the chemical units or "building blocks" of the body that make up proteins. Protein substances make up the muscles, tendons, organs, glands, nails, and hair. Growth, repair and maintenance of all cells are dependent upon them. Next to water, protein makes up the greatest portion of our body weight. Amino Acids that must be obtained from the diet are called "Essential Amino Acids" other Amino Acids that the body can manufacture from other sources are called "NonEssential Amino Acids." LaCore Aedre if formulated with the perfect combination of both sets of Amino Acids.

HYDROXYPROLINE
In the field of nutrition, well-being and health, hydroxy proline has an important part to play. Not only is it required for optimum general health, but also have specific functions in the body in which it assists.

Examples of these functions include collagen production, slowing collagen loss, cartilage healing, and strengthening joints, and are also used in certain treatments, such as lowering blood pressure and boosting immune function.

Hydroxyproline is necessary for the construction of the body's major structural protein, collagen. Defects in collagen synthesis lead to easy bruising, internal bleeding, breakdown of connective tissue of the ligaments and tendons, and increased risk to blood vessel damage. Increased spill of hydroxyproline in the urine is generally associated with breakdown of connective tissue due to disease process and may also be a manifestation of vitamin C deficiency.

SERINE
Needed for the proper metabolism of fats and fatty acids, the growth of muscle, and the maintenance of a healthy immune system; is a component of the protective myelin sheaths that cover nerve fibers; is important in RNA & DNA function and cell formation; aids in the production of immunoglobulins and antibodies.

HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid (also called Hyaluronan) is a component of connective tissue whose function is to cushion and lubricate.  Hyaluronan occurs throughout the body in abundant amounts in many of the places people with hereditary connective tissue disorders have problems such as joints, heart valves and eyes.  Hyaluronic acid abnormalities are a common thread in connective tissue disorders.  Interestingly, they are also common biochemical anomalies in most of the individual features of connective tissue disorders such as mitral valve prolapse, TMJ, osteoarthritis, and keratoconus.

Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in the way your skin looks, feels, and functions. A natural complex sugar found in all mammals, it's a major component of the connective tissue matrix in the dermis—the dense, inner layer of skin beneath the epidermis. This matrix is made up of hyaluronic acid as well as two connective fibers—collagen and elastin.

By its nature, hyaluronic acid retains water like a sponge, absorbing more than 1,000 times its weight. This helps to attract and maintain water within the extracellular space, hydrating your skin and increasing its volume and density. Hyaluronic acid is also involved with the transport of essential nutrients to the skin's viable cells. Hyaluronic acid provides volume, helping to contribute to the skin's overall appearance.

As you age and your skin is exposed to environmental pollutants and the sun's ultraviolet rays, your cells gradually lose the ability to produce hyaluronic acid. Studies have shown that older skin typically has lower levels of hyaluronic acid than younger skin. As you age, your skin tissue becomes dehydrated and the collagen and elastin fibers lose their structure, resulting in a loss of skin volume and the formation of the facial wrinkles and folds that are common characteristics of aged skin.
